Background
Catherine Luelo, MBA, brings more than 30 years of executive leadership experience across technology, aviation, energy, and telecommunications sectors. As an Independent Director of Crown Aviation Holdings Inc. and Chair of the M&A Committee, Catherine provides strategic oversight on acquisition execution and post-closing integration procedures. Catherine is widely recognized for her expertise in digital transformation, systems integration, and organizational change within complex and highly regulated environments.
Catherine previously served as Chief Information Officer of the Government of Canada, where she was responsible for national technology and information management strategy, policy, and oversight. Catherine has also held senior executive roles at Air Canada, Enbridge Inc., WestJet Airlines, and TELUS Communications, leading large-scale transformation initiatives, modernizing enterprise systems, and advancing the adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. The experience Catherine has earned aligning technology with business strategy is directly applicable to Crown Aviation’s growth-by-acquisition model.
Catherine serves as an independent director of the Calgary Airport Authority and the Master Group, contributing governance and strategic insight across infrastructure and industrial sectors. Based in the Calgary area, Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Alberta and an MBA from Athabasca University. At Crown Aviation, Catherine ensures disciplined execution of the Company’s acquisition strategy and integration of acquired businesses.
