Background
Françoise E. Lyon, ADM.A., brings over 30 years of senior experience in finance, wealth management, and corporate governance to the Board of Crown Aviation Holdings Inc. As an Independent Director and Chair of the HR, Nominating & Compensation Committee, she provides strategic oversight on executive compensation, talent development, and governance practices, with a focus on long-term shareholder value creation.
Françoise is recognized for her leadership in ESG, diversity and inclusion, and her longstanding advocacy for women in finance.
Over the course of her career, she has held senior roles at Pembroke Private Wealth Management, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and National Bank of Canada, and currently leads a boutique advisory firm focused on venture capital, impact investing, and corporate transitions. She brings deep experience advising family offices and institutional investors and has served on numerous boards and committees—including audit, governance, investment, and compensation—where she has contributed to strategic growth and strengthened governance frameworks.
A recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, Françoise is an active leader in the Canadian financial community and a strong advocate for financial literacy and inclusion. She has supported organizations such as the National Gallery of Canada, the IWF Leadership Foundation, and the Québec Financial Women’s Association, and founded the Women’s Philanthropic Circle of Influence at the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts.
Based in the Montréal area, Françoise holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal, a Certificate in Public Relations Management (Honours) from McGill University, and additional international business and finance credentials.
